Daniel Dirmeier, LL.M., advises and represents national and international companies, start-ups, executives and employees in all aspects of German individual and collective labour law, as well as in related areas such as social security law and business immigration law. He represents his clients out of court and in judicial proceedings before labour, civil and social courts.
He is specialised in drafting employment contracts for national and international clients, including remuneration arrangements or supplementary agreements, advising on transfers of undertakings and co-determination rights of works councils under the German Works Constitution Act, including the drafting of works agreements. With regard to working conditions, he frequently assists clients with the introduction and implementation of company guidelines to ensure compliance with applicable laws and with the introduction of rules of conduct within the company.
Daniel Dirmeier also advises on business immigration law in order to support clients in employing foreign skilled workers in Germany. He advises employers and foreign skilled workers on obtaining residence permits and visas of all kinds and on extending existing residence permits. Daniel Dirmeier also advises foreigners living in Germany on obtaining permanent residence permits, such as settlement permits, or naturalisation to obtain German citizenship.
Daniel Dirmeier also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from the Berlin School of Economics and Law, Germany, with a specialisation in public law and public administration employment. Before joining the firm, he worked for several years as a research assistant and then as a lawyer in labour law and business immigration law in international law firms in Berlin.
